Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the First Drop Theatre website and your interactions with information, enquiries, programmes, workshops, performances, events and other services presented through the website.
By using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please discontinue use of the website.
1. About First Drop Theatre
First Drop Theatre is a Bengaluru-based Applied Theatre company working across organisations, healthcare, education, practitioner development, performances and community contexts.
Our work may draw from Applied Theatre, Playback Theatre, improvisation, storytelling, Psychodrama, Expressive Arts and other participative or arts-based approaches depending on the nature of an engagement.
2. Website Information
Information presented on this website is intended to provide a general overview of First Drop Theatre, our work, methodologies, programmes, performances, events and areas of practice.
Website content does not constitute a binding proposal, contract or guarantee that a particular programme, methodology, facilitator, performance, event, format or outcome will be available in every situation.
3. Customised Programmes and Engagements
Many First Drop Theatre engagements are designed around the needs, participants, learning objectives, organisational context or community involved.
The scope, methodology, duration, facilitators, commercial terms, deliverables and other conditions of a particular engagement will be confirmed separately through proposals, agreements, emails or other written communication.
4. Enquiries Are Not Confirmed Bookings
Submission of a website form, WhatsApp message, email or other enquiry does not automatically constitute confirmation of a programme, performance, event or engagement.
A booking or engagement is considered confirmed only after First Drop Theatre and the relevant customer or organisation agree to the applicable scope, dates, commercial terms and other required conditions.
5. Events, Workshops and Public Programmes
Specific workshops, training programmes, performances and public events may be subject to separate registration, payment, cancellation, venue, participation or refund terms.
Where separate event-specific or programme-specific terms are provided, those terms will apply to that particular booking in addition to these general website Terms & Conditions.
6. Programme and Event Changes
First Drop Theatre may, where reasonably necessary, change programme schedules, facilitators, venues, delivery formats or other operational details.
Where a confirmed paid engagement or public programme is materially affected, applicable options will be communicated to registered participants or customers according to the terms of that particular engagement.
7. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, website content and materials created or owned by First Drop Theatre — including text, branding, graphics, programme descriptions, photographs, videos, performance documentation, methodologies, presentation material and website design — are protected by applicable intellectual property rights.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, republished, commercially used, distributed or adapted without appropriate permission.
Limited sharing of publicly available website links for informational purposes is permitted.
8. Programme Materials and Methodologies
Participation in a First Drop Theatre workshop, training or practitioner programme does not automatically transfer ownership of First Drop Theatre materials, programme designs, scripts, facilitation structures or other proprietary content.
Where training specifically permits participants to use particular methodologies or materials, the scope of such use will be explained separately.
9. User Responsibilities
When using this website, you agree not to:

10. Testimonials and Client References
Testimonials, organisational references and examples of past work are presented to illustrate previous experiences and engagements.
They do not constitute a guarantee that every future engagement will produce identical outcomes.
11. Healthcare and Mental Health Content
First Drop Theatre uses Applied Theatre and arts-based approaches in healthcare, mental health, caregiving, palliative care and related contexts.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise for a particular professional service, information and programmes presented on this website should not be interpreted as medical diagnosis, clinical treatment, emergency support or a substitute for qualified medical or mental-health care.
12. Educational Content
Theatre-based educational programmes are designed to support experiential learning, participation, expression, collaboration and exploration.
Such programmes do not replace formal educational, academic, medical, psychological or other professional requirements unless specifically agreed with the relevant institution.
13. Practitioner Training
Practitioner training programmes vary in scope, duration and depth.
Participation in a programme does not automatically constitute professional certification, accreditation or authorisation to practise a particular therapeutic or specialist methodology unless the relevant programme expressly states otherwise.
14. Photography and Recording
Performances, workshops or events may occasionally be photographed, filmed or otherwise documented where appropriate permissions have been obtained.
Participants will be informed or consent obtained where required according to the nature of the programme or engagement.
